We’d love to hear about it! It’s been an incredible year for Unico 20°87° Riviera Maya, filled with weeks of wellness, our 7th anniversary, visits from master artisans, chefs, and mixologists, and a collection of new awards, including a top 50 ranking—for the 5th time—on Conde Nast Readers Choice Awards, and named by Forbes as “Best High-End All-Inclusive” and “Best All-Inclusive Luxury” by Forbes Advisor, among several others. We basked under the Mayan sunlight, swam in turquoise waters, tasted the creations of award-winning chefs and mixologists, and immersed ourselves in local art and culture of all kinds. Given all the exciting highlights, we took a vote on the best of the best for 2024.

We boogied down on the beach, hosted all-day pool parties, listened to celeb DJs, sipped the grooviest cocktails, took tons of pics, partied with Gogo dancers, counted down to New Year’s Eve along with live music, and brought in the new year along the glittering shores of the Mayan Riviera. DIA DE LOS MUERTOS
October was an all-out celebration of life, love, and incredible costumes at our Dia de los Muertos festivities—a weekend of local history and new traditions, sublime cuisine, next-level cocktails, and limitless creativity, artistry, and fun.

A BITTERSWEET FAREWELL
Chef Lula Martin del Campo is a highlight in and of herself, not only in 2024 but also in her entire time with us as Guest Chef-in-Residence. She taught us the core elements of Mexican cuisine, showed us the time-honored techniques used across regions, shared the beauty and diversity of authentic Mexican cooking, and brought new tastes, new flavors, and new emotions to our table that we will never, ever forget. Chef Lula, we will be forever thankful and we wish you the happiest New Year.
